GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. For direct, non-stop extra-urban transfers, the rate is calculated based on the distance in kilometers, time required and availability at the time of booking. Transfers fares are variable and depend on availability.
2. Special rates apply for pick-up and drop-off services to/from airports, which you can request through our info/booking service : info@lakecomotransfers.com
3. As the transfer provider, we are not responsible for delays or missed flights / trains due to force majeure events such as accidents, adverse weather conditions, or unforeseeable circumstances.
4. Each passenger may bring one large bag and one small bag. Any additional baggage (e.g., skis or other equipment) must be specified at the time of booking to ensure the vehicle can accommodate it.
5. Drivers reserve the right to refuse unreported bulky items, excess baggage, or any items that cannot be transported safely (e.g., broken, wet, or dirty suitcases).
6. You can reserve a car with a driver as follows:

• By phone: +39 328 1319806 or +39 349 3431906. Unless otherwise agreed, all phone bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or text message, including all relevant details.
7. When booking a car with a driver by phone, the client must accept these terms and conditions, which are available on our website or can be provided by email or phone upon request. Once confirmed, the booking confirmation should be kept and presented to the driver. If the booking includes a return trip, please retain the confirmation for the entire duration of the booking.
8. Upon booking, the client should provide both the pick-up and destination addresses. If the client wishes to change these or other booking details, they must do so via email or phone at least 12 hours before the service begins. For changes with less than 12 hours’ notice, a new booking may be required, which may incur additional costs or changes to the vehicle or driver assigned in the original booking.
9. Lake Como Transfers di Pugno Lorenzo commits to having its own or freelance drivers’ vehicles on-site at the agreed time. However, Lake Como Transfers snc cannot be held liable for delays, damages, or related claims arising from force majeure (e.g., traffic jams, accidents).
10. All vehicles are new, fully insured, and authorized to operate in Italy and Europe.
11. Passenger transportation is covered by an insurance policy held by Lake Como Transfers di Lorenzo Pugno for third parties. Clients’ belongings are carried at their own risk, and clients must declare their ownership upon boarding. Upon departure and arrival, clients should verify their belongings, as Lake Como Transfers di Lorenzo Pugno is not liable for any loss or damage to luggage.
12. During transfers, clients may not:
• Smoke;
• Throw objects out of the vehicle, whether it is stationary or moving;
• Stain, dirty, or damage the vehicle;
• Eat in the vehicle;
• Bring pets without prior arrangement, including measures to prevent any damage or mess in the vehicle;
• Request unsafe driving practices in violation of current road safety regulations.
14. Right to Cancel a Reservation:
• Clients may cancel a reservation without penalty up to 8 days before the service.
• For cancellations made between 8 days and 48 hours before the service, a 50% penalty fee will apply.
• For cancellations made within 48 hours, a 100% penalty fee will apply.
15. In the event of strikes or delays involving other modes of transportation, Lake Como Transfers cannot be held liable for any resulting delays or cancellations. Therefore, no refund will be issued for cancellations or missed services due to strikes or delays of other transportation services.
16. If a client experiences a delay of over 30 minutes due to force majeure (e.g., delayed or canceled flight), they must inform the service immediately by email or phone. Failure to notify will result in forfeiture of service and a penalty equal to 50% of the service fee.
17. Any disputes regarding the interpretation or execution of this contract will be governed by Italian law and fall under the jurisdiction of the Court of Como (Italy).
